Community Celebrations
Joyful community gatherings celebrating Eid Al-Fitr, Eid Al-Adha, and Eid Al-Ghadir bringing our community together in gratitude, prayer, and the spirit of togetherness.
About Our Eid Events
Eid is among the most joyful occasions in the Islamic calendar a time of gratitude, giving, family, and community. The Voice of Lady Zainab Foundation hosts annual Eid celebrations that welcome all members of our community, old and new.
Our Eid events are designed to be inclusive, warm, and meaningful blending traditional Islamic celebration with the unique spirit of our Vermont community. They feature communal prayers, shared meals, children's activities, and opportunities to connect with neighbors.
We celebrate three major Eids throughout the year: Eid Al-Fitr (end of Ramadan), Eid Al-Adha (feast of sacrifice), and Eid Al-Ghadir (a significant occasion for followers of Ahlul Bayt).
Our Annual Eids
The feast marking the end of Ramadan a day of gratitude, communal Eid prayers, shared meals, and celebration with family and community. We open our celebration to all.
The feast of sacrifice commemorating the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice his son in obedience to God. A day of prayer, reflection, and generous sharing.
A day of great significance for followers of Ahlul Bayt marking the announcement of Imam Ali's (AS) leadership at Ghadir Khum by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
